Social Networking -
- Use social networking sites for your personal life - family, hobbies, travel, etc. Remember, mammals learn best through play! Read and understand the "Terms of Use" that you are agreeing to!
- Use social networking to connect with others for your work life. Connect with teachers in similar grade levels, looking for similar curriculum content, trying to overcoming problems and roadblocks, etc.
- Use social networking with your students as appropriate and within the guidelines set for your school. Read and understand your school's Acceptable Use Policy / Internet Guidelings, publishing online information for school work and pictures, etc. Check to see that your technology works with both a teacher login and a student login prior to using it in the classroom!
- Remember to stay connected face to face. Use social networking as a way to increase connecting with people in real life.
